Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you are enrolling or registering on behalf of a minor, or as their parent or guardian, you accept these Terms on their behalf and confirm you are authorised to do so.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform, or contact us so we can address your concerns.

These Terms constitute a valid electronic agreement under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it. No physical or digital signature is required for these Terms, or any record forming part of them, to be binding.

Eligibility

The Platform is intended for students of all ages who wish to learn the Quran and Islamic Studies, for their parents or guardians, and for qualified teachers wishing to offer instruction. Where a student is a minor, their account and enrolment must be created and overseen by a parent, guardian, or our administrative staff on their behalf — the Platform does not offer open, unsupervised self-registration for minors.

Teachers who self-register through our registration page are reviewed and must be approved by our administrative team before they can access teaching features. We reserve the right to decline or revoke access for anyone who does not meet our eligibility or conduct standards.

Student Responsibilities

Students (or their parent/guardian, where the student is a minor) agree to:

• Provide accurate information during enrolment and keep it up to date
• Attend scheduled classes on time and notify their teacher or our staff in advance where possible if a class must be missed or rescheduled
• Engage respectfully with teachers and, where applicable, fellow students
• Keep account login details confidential and not share them with others
• Pay course fees on time in line with the billing arrangement communicated at enrolment

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

Where a parent or guardian enrols a minor, they are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, for ensuring the student attends scheduled classes in a suitable environment, for timely payment of fees, and for communicating with us about any changes to the student's circumstances, availability, or continued enrolment.

Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers using the Platform agree to:

• Provide accurate qualification information during the application process and, where requested, supporting documentation
• Deliver classes punctually and in line with the schedule agreed with students and our administrative team
• Record attendance and, where required, progress notes accurately and promptly
• Maintain a respectful, professional, and age-appropriate manner in all interactions with students and parents
• Safeguard any student or parent information they have access to, and use it only to carry out their teaching duties

Class Scheduling & Attendance

Classes, including one-to-one sessions, are scheduled by mutual arrangement between the student/parent, the assigned teacher, and our administrative team, and are recorded on the Platform. We aim to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee a specific time slot will always be available.

Attendance is recorded by the teacher for each scheduled class. Repeated unexplained absence may affect a student's enrolment status and, depending on the billing arrangement in place, does not automatically entitle the student to a fee refund or credit for the missed class.

Payments

Course fees are billed according to the enrolment plan communicated to the student or parent at the time of enrolment. Fees are currently payable by direct bank transfer or UPI to the account details we provide; our Accounts team manually confirms and records receipt of payment.

It is the student's or parent's responsibility to ensure payments are made on time and that our team is notified promptly if a payment is delayed. Continued access to classes may depend on fees being kept up to date, as communicated by our Accounts team.

Some students' fees are fully or partially covered through Foundation sponsorship or a personal sponsor arranged with our team. Where this applies, the payment responsibility described above shifts to Riza Foundation or the sponsor accordingly, as communicated to the student or family at enrolment.

We ask that fee obligations be honoured as agreed, both as a matter of trust and as a matter of Islamic principle: the Qur'an instructs believers to "fulfil [their] contracts and obligations." (Qur'an 5:1).

Discontinuation & Cancellation

A student or parent may discontinue enrolment at any time by notifying our administrative team. Once notice is given, we will stop scheduling further classes and future billing for that student from the effective discontinuation date; fees already billed for classes already delivered remain payable.

As course fees relate to classes already scheduled or delivered rather than to a pre-paid, cancellable package, we do not generally offer refunds for classes already conducted. Where a genuine billing error has occurred, please contact our Accounts team and we will review it in good faith.

We may suspend or end a student's or teacher's access to the Platform if these Terms, including the Code of Conduct below, are seriously or repeatedly breached.

Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, branding, course materials, blog content, and software are owned by Riza Foundation or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Quranic text and authentic hadith referenced in our materials belong, as revealed knowledge and prophetic tradition, to no one — but our own explanations, course structure, and written content may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without our written permission.

You may use materials made available to you for your personal learning only, and may not resell, publicly redistribute, or claim them as your own work.

Website & Application Usage

You agree to use the Platform only for its intended educational and administrative purposes, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to any part of it, including other users' accounts or data. Automated scraping, bulk data extraction, or attempts to bypass security or rate-limiting measures are not permitted.

Code of Conduct & Prohibited Behaviour

We expect everyone on the Platform — students, parents, teachers, and staff — to treat one another with the respect due within an Islamic learning environment. The following are not permitted:

• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language directed at any user
• Sharing another person's account, login details, or private information without consent
• Uploading content that is unlawful, obscene, or unrelated to the Platform's educational purpose
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your qualifications or identity
• Using the Platform to solicit business, proselytise outside the bounds described in "Voluntary Participation" below, or contact users for purposes unrelated to their course

Breach of this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of access to the Platform, at our reasonable discretion.

Voluntary Participation & Freedom of Belief

Riza Foundation exists to teach the Quran and Islamic Studies to those who willingly seek this knowledge. Every student who joins us — or whose parent or guardian enrols them — does so entirely voluntarily. Classes are conducted only for registered students; we do not seek out or pressure anyone outside our registered community to participate.

We respect the freedom of belief and conscience of every individual who interacts with our Platform. No one is coerced, pressured, or induced to accept or practise Islam through our teaching or our platform. Our role is to convey authentic knowledge with sincerity and good manners to those who ask for it — nothing more.

This approach reflects clear guidance within Islam itself. The Qur'an states: "There is no compulsion in religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong." (Qur'an 2:256). It also instructs: "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best." (Qur'an 16:125). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said: "Facilitate things for people, and do not make it difficult for them, and give them good tidings, and do not repel them." (Sahih al-Bukhari 69, narrated by Anas b. Malik). A closely related teaching is recorded when the Prophet sent two of his companions to teach in Yemen, instructing them: "Give good tidings and do not repel, make things easy and do not make them difficult." (Sahih Muslim 1733). We aim to embody this spirit of ease, wisdom, and voluntary invitation in everything we do.

Limitation of Liability

We strive to provide reliable, high-quality teaching and a well-functioning Platform, but we do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — for example, due to internet connectivity issues, scheduled maintenance, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We also do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, a particular pace of progress, or that any individual teacher will remain assigned to a student indefinitely — teaching quality and rate of progress depend on many factors, including the student's own engagement, attendance, and practice, and teachers may occasionally need to be reassigned due to availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Riza Foundation shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, save where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded (for example, in cases of our own negligence causing personal injury, or fraud).

Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it to understand how we handle information about students, parents, teachers, and website visitors.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in how the Platform operates or to comply with legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your own country of residence.
