About RIZA Foundation
Our story, mission, and the values that drive everything we do.
Our Mission
To provide accessible, high-quality Quranic education and welfare services that empower individuals and uplift communities — making the knowledge of the Quran available to every eager learner regardless of age, background, or financial status.
Our Vision
To nurture a generation of knowledgeable, compassionate citizens who carry the light of Quranic wisdom into every aspect of their lives — building communities where education is the foundation of spiritual fulfilment and social progress.
The RIZA Story
From a single classroom to a growing community — here is how we got here.
The Beginning
RIZA Foundation was established with a single classroom and 15 students in Old City, Hyderabad. A small group of dedicated volunteers set out to provide free Quranic education to children who had limited access.
Growing Roots
Student enrollment grew to 80+. We introduced the Tajweed program and expanded to weekend batches for working adults. The first batch of women-only classes launched.
Reaching Further
Outreach expanded to 10 surrounding villages. We partnered with local masajid to set up satellite learning centres and awarded our first 30 scholarships.
Building Capacity
Launched a Teacher Training Program to equip aspiring Quran teachers with modern pedagogy. Our volunteer team grew to 20+ active members.
Scaling Impact
Reached 500+ students across 25+ villages. Held the first Annual Quran Recitation Competition. 120+ scholarships awarded to date. Plans underway for a permanent campus.
